The women’s ministry is not a club, but strives to include every lady that attends Central Church of God. We want ladies to be involved in any area that they are called to, but we also know that God wants to use us in every aspect of ministry.  Women are involved in every area of ministry with exception of the men’s ministry.

We also minister to the hurting such as funerals,  family difficulty, and any other help that's needed.
The women's ministry puts on and participates in many events throughout the year including: Christmas Decorating and Fellowships, READ Initiative, Sanctity of Life Sunday, Love the World (Women with a Mission Project), Valentines for Widows, Ladies State Retreat, Mother’s Day Honors, Indiana Camp Meeting, Ladies Brunch, School Supply Drive, Celebration Dinner, Fall Fest Bazaar and Lunch, and Thanksgiving Dinners for needy.

MISSION & VISION

Our Mission: To know Christ and make Him known; to grow in the WORD of God in order to become leaders and mentors who disciple others; to be an army of prayer warriors and intercessors; to put our faith into action by standing up for the sanctity of life, freedom for those enslaved by addictions or human trafficking, and strengthening the hands of the poor and needy; to give of our talents, time and treasure for Kingdom purposes; to be accountable to one another through small group women’s communities of worship, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship; to strengthen our families by assuming our biblical role in the home; and to be God’s loving hands in the world.

Our Vision: To stir up, set on fire; to illuminate God’s POWER within our lives - not the power that the world craves, but a divine enablement that transforms each and every life; to become a flaming army of more-than-conquering, women of God.

Discipleship: Our Women's Discipleship Kindle the Power focus is to stir up, set on fire, and illuminate the power within our lives not the power the world is so hungry for, but power that makes a change in each and every life. This will make us an army of more-than-conquering, confident women of God.

There has never been a more critical time to disciple women to become powerful influences for God. Kindle the Power is a discipleship initiative of Church of God International Women’s Discipleship to bring focus to our Christian walk of faith. Today’s women are attending church services and small groups less. There is a critical need for the church to be more intentional and more effective in its ministry to women. Women’s Discipleship exists to help local leaders reverse these trends.

Operation Freedom: The El Shaddai Rescue Home will be located two hours from Asia's largest slum, Mumbai, India. There are over 200,000 persons that are trafficked into, within or through India every year. Only 10% of human trafficking in India is international, while almost 90% is interstate. Operation Freedom seeks to step in and help to stop human trafficking in India through these four goals:

  1. Restore and enlarge current facilities which will include a training facility for staff.
  2. Train staff who will work with the children that are rescued.
  3. Purchase 2 vans for transportation for the El Shaddai Rescue Home.
  4. Create an endowment for business for creating monthly support income for the rescue home.

Smoky Mountain Children's Home: The Church of God Smoky Mountain Children’s Home has a legacy of caring for hurting children dating back to 1920. The ministry has stood the test of time, adapting and developing with the needs of the children in our care. Today, The Home represents a full complement of services to children and their families.

The Home becomes a place of development for the children who reside here. It is a place where they are each challenged to become all that God created them to be. The changes that take place within our residents’ lives can only be considered miracles! In fact, many of our Alumni have gone on to have healthy families and successful careers as leaders within their communities.

Since the birth of this ministry, The Home has been the haven of hope and healing for literally thousands of abandoned, neglected, misguided, and abused children. We believe that we are A place of Hope, Opportunity, Mentoring, and Encouragement for hurting children. We invite your partnership.
